Sotto Torchio

CARHARTT WIP is pleased to present its latest skate project, SOTTO TORCHIO, created in partnership with UK skateboarding magazine GREY, and its European online peer A BRIEF GLANCE. Taking inspiration from the editor of A Brief Glance’s passion for wine, a typical skate tour was combined with a wine-tasting tour around four regions in Northern Italy. With each region, came new terrain to skate and a different winery to check out.

Marseille

A while ago Tao Ström and Carhartt WIP rider David Stenström started to plan a little trip to escape the cold days in Copenhagen. After talking about Marseille and the sports the city has to offer it was clear where to go. The crew got bigger and Carhartt WIP riders Shin Sanbongi, Roman Gonzalez. 2117: Liam Hodges

As part of 2117, a collaborative project between LAW Magazine and Carhartt WIP to celebrate 100 years of the iconic Carhartt Chore Coat, we spoke to London-based designer Liam Hodges. Hodges created a custom Chore Coat for the accompanying 2117 publication, as well as a futuristic survival tent, created from spliced Carhartt WIP coats, mirroring elements of his own dystopian sportswear aesthetic. 2117 magazine is now available to check out in full at Carhartt WIP stores and select retailers.

Saint Denis: A Documentary

Saint Denis is the latest skate documentary by Carhartt WIP, featuring team rider Denis Lynn. Clocking in at 43 minutes, it explores the world of Denis, his humble origins and his jaunts around Europe, seeing him skate spots in Paris, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Malmo. The film is shot and directed by Phil Evans, a regular Carhartt WIP collaborator, who has worked with the brand on previous projects such as “Format Perspective” and “The Panoramic Series”.
